Day 99 Old Tractor
An old tractor seen at one of the farm stalls along the West Coast Road. It seems to have some dignity just sitting out there, every day, rain or shine, watching everyone driving past. Wonder what stories it could tell about its younger years.
Day 98 The Beauty Of Kirstenbosch
The beauty of Kirstenbosch never fails to amaze me, so many pathways, mountain views, picnic spots, waterways and just places to sit and drink in all this beauty. It is one of my favourite places to visit.
Day 95 Colourful Beach Houses
These colourful beach houses at Clovelly must be the most photographed item in the Western Cape.
Day 90 I Love The Weskus
Saw this sign along the West Coast Road and must say I agree.
Day 89 Islands In The Sun
The pattern of these little tidal, marsh pools caught my eye in the West Coast National Park, little Islands in the sun.
Day 83 Birds On The Wires
Driving along the Old Malmesbury backroads you can see flocks of Cape Canaries and Bishops sitting along the fence wires. As you come near they all fly off in a cloud only to settle once again, just a little further down the road.
Day 80 Kalk Bay Harbour
Kalk Bay and the harbour is one of my favourite places to visit. Love the atmosphere and the vibe in Kalk Bay, from the antiques to the book shops to the bakeries to the restaurants. Can never get enough of the beautiful scenery either.
Day 72 Mickey Mouse Mountain
Kirstenbosch gardens with Mickey Mouse Mountain in the background. So serene and peaceful.
Day 65 The Pulpit At Langebaan
The Pulpit or more commonly known as Preekstoel to the locals, looks out over the beautiful blue water of the lagoon in the West Coast National Park.
