Day 18 Another Cat In A Box
Seems that a cat cannot resist a box! We saw this one at the West Coast Padstaal and he looks so content.
Day 87 Little Red Mushrooms
Saw these cute little red mushrooms up at Silvermine, I wonder if they are edible? Then again, red is usually the sign of danger so I guess not.
Day 86 Restios And Raindrops
I loved the pattern of the raindrops on these Restios, reminded me of sparkly little diamonds.
Day 78 My Torti Cat
Torti was an abandoned cat that we found at the SPCA, well actually she chose me by continually climbing up my jeans and settling on my waist. She is an absolute character and we love her to bits.
Day 63 Beautiful Artwork At Intaka Island
Some beautiful signage going up at Intaka Island in Century City. Artwork concept and design by the young intern Kirsten.
Day 59 Pretty Grass Seeds
I was so attracted to all the different grasses out in the wild, the colours, shapes and patterns fascinate me. These grass seeds are so pretty.
Day 46 Wild Peach Seed Pods
I couln't resist taking a picture of these seed pods, the textures, patterns and colour are so interesting and pretty. I haven't been able to identify the tree that these seed pods come from so if anyone could assist in the identity it would be appreciated. Thank you very much Richard Gill and Jack Bold for identifying the tree as Kiggelaria Africana - Seeds of the female Wild Peach Tree
Day 42 Natural Beauty
This photo shows the beauty of the trees and the huge sky that can be seen every day in the Kruger National Park. The scenery is superb.
Day 32 Purple Seedpods On A Tree
Many of the trees in Kruger have seedpods of varying sizes shapes and colours, I particularly like the shape and colour of these but I do not know the name of the tree, please let me know if you can identify it for me. Thank you Alexander Dowding for the identity, it is the purple seedpod of the Lowveld Cluster Leaf (Terminalia prunioides).
